The difference in sealing performance between octagonal and oval gaskets

Octagonal gaskets and oval gaskets are both types of metal ring gaskets, but there are differences between these two types of gaskets, specifically in terms of sealing performance.

The sealing performance of octagonal and oval gaskets is excellent, but there are still differences. Among them, the sealing performance of the octagonal gasket is suitable for medium and low-pressure water and oil media, with a maximum working pressure of up to 40Mpa; oval gaskets have a wider range of applications, not only for common media such as water, oil, gasoline, and gas, but also for withstanding high pressure and temperature, making them less prone to aging.

There are many types of RTJ gaskets, including R Gasket,RX Gasket,BX Gasket, SBX Gasket,IX Gasket, flange connections, and various customized products. We will do more sharing about ring joint gasket.
