Basic protection:For individual metal ring gaskets, first apply anti-rust oil to the surface, then seal them in anti-static PE bags to prevent scratches or rust caused by friction or exposure to moisture during transportation. For polished or precision ring gaskets, wrap them in vapor-phase rust-proof paper and place them in hard plastic boxes to avoid deformation from pressure.
Bulk bundling:Small ring gaskets with a diameter of ≤50mm should be stacked in groups of 50-100 pieces each, bundled into cylindrical shapes with nylon cable ties or steel straps, and each bundle should weigh no more than 25kg for ease of handling. Large-sized irregular ring gaskets (such as those with a cross-sectional perimeter >500mm) should be stacked in layers in wooden boxes, with EPE foam cushioning between layers, and the four corners of the box reinforced with steel straps.
Special treatment:For ring gaskets used at high temperatures (such as boiler seals), silica gel desiccant should be added during packaging, and high-temperature resistant aluminum foil film should be wrapped around the outer layer to block moisture. Export products must pass the salt spray test before being vacuum-sealed in a vacuum-aluminized film composite packaging bag to adapt to the marine environment.
Labeling and Quality Inspection:Each package is labeled with a QR code on the outside, indicating the material (such as 2520 stainless steel), batch number, and temperature resistance level (such as 1000℃). Before loading, a 1.5 times working pressure airtight test is conducted to ensure that the seals are leak-free.
The specific packaging should be adjusted according to the material of the metal ring gasket, the applicable scenario, and the transportation distance.
