Packaging protection specifications for metal ring gaskets

The packaging of metal ring gaskets should strictly follow protective regulations to ensure their precise structure and sealing performance.

Partition box anti-collision:
Customized cartons or wooden boxes are used, and foam/pearl cotton partitions are set inside for separate storage to avoid mutual extrusion and deformation of ring gaskets;
Single box loading capacity needs to be controlled: weight ≤ 25kg (to prevent box bottom cracking), void ratio<15% (to reduce shaking);
Octagonal gaskets and oval gaskets are classified for packaging (oval gaskets require higher accuracy and need to be separately divided into grids).

Surface protection measures:
The sealing surface of the ring gasket is covered with PE protective film to prevent scratches (the roughness of the grinding surface Ra ≤ 0.8 μ m, scratches can cause sealing failure);
Stainless steel ring gaskets require moisture-proof treatment (desiccants should be placed inside the box to prevent chloride ion corrosion).
High temperature alloy gaskets (such as Inconel) need to be transported by a constant temperature vehicle (-10 ℃~40 ℃) to prevent cold brittleness or oxidation.

There are many types of RTJ gaskets, including R Gasket,RX Gasket,BX Gasket, SBX Gasket,IX Gasket,flange connections,and various customized products.We will do more sharing about ring joint gasket.
