Oval gasket is essentially a metal sealing ring with an oval cross-section, which achieves extreme working condition sealing through violent deformation.
Its sealing form is blade type pressing: an elliptical metal ring (intentionally harder than the flange) is inserted into a trapezoidal groove, pressed into the flange slope like a knife cutting butter at the top of the arc, forming a permanent indentation to achieve sealing. The first time tightening the bolt, only seven force is used. After the equipment heats up and runs, it is locked with a supplementary knife to specifically deal with thermal expansion and contraction.
It has three special designs:
1、 Intentionally increasing the size
The diameter of the gasket is 0.3-0.6mm larger than the groove, and it is forcefully squeezed in and self tightened by deformation elasticity for sealing.
2、 23 ° golden angle
The flange contact surface is neither vertical nor horizontal, and is specially designed with a 23 ° inclination angle to balance the clamping force and prevent cracking.
3、 Disposable branding
After use, the gasket and flange groove leave exclusive indentations on each other, and forced reuse will result in leakage.
